Navigating Continuing Healthcare can feel overwhelming. Delivered by an experienced nurse practitioner with extensive expertise, this independent service provides clear, practical guidance to help you prepare for assessments, reviews and appeals with confidence — whether you are dealing with an Integrated Care Board in England or a Local Health Board in Wales.
In England the process is governed by the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare. In Wales the equivalent is Continuing NHS Healthcare (CHC), governed by the All-Wales Continuing NHS Healthcare Framework. The stages are similar, but the bodies, tools and review routes differ — so the guidance is tailored to whichever framework applies to you.

Achieving the right outcomes for your family member means making sure their healthcare needs are properly understood and effectively met, while ensuring they receive fair and equitable financial support from the relevant Integrated Care Board (ICB), Local Health Board (LHB) or Local Authority (LA).
